My four year old daughter, Gracie, didn't write a letter to Santa Claus this year. Not because she didn't want to... the subject never came up and I just handed her a toy catalog with the direction to circle what she wanted this year, anyway - apparently all she wants is a hot pink Vespa, because that's all she circled.
But the other day, she came over to me with a little package that she had made herself, and asked for some tape so she could tape it shut.
"Whats that?" I asked her.
"A picture of me and Santa. I'm going to mail it to him," she replied.
So Santa, this year you aren't going to be getting a demanding list from one of your littlest fans... you're going to be getting a picture drawn with lots and lots of love (and crayola markers), to keep forever and ever and ever.
Hopefully this act of kindness will get Gracie off the naughty list... Fingers crossed.
xoxo,
AWWW. Gracie is too cute. Thats such a sweet little story. This made me smile.
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet!!
ReplyDeleteAmelia and Gracie must be on the same wavelength. As we were in Michaels buying supplies to make Christmas presents for MawMaw and Grammy (at her insistence), she pulled me over to the silk flower section and asked to pick out a rose for each of her grandmothers...and one for Santa. "I want Santa to have this one" she tells me :) I thought it was the sweetest thing ever.
ReplyDeleteAw, Alyssa!! That is sweet! I'm sure Santa has never been left roses before!
