Polly Gets Her Home

It seems that one little SweetPea must have been a very good girl...or, maybe, that Santa heard the plight of poor Polly Pocket...for on Christmas morning, there bright and shiny was the very Polly house that had been requested.  Sadly, it didn't take long before word hit the street that Polly had a hot new crib and next thing she knew, her new house turned into cross between a sorority house and doll commune...

Ariel was the first to move in...into the bathroom that is...straight into the bathtub.  She brought Cinderella along for the ride...because, well, every Princess needs a bud when she's hanging out in the tub.  Obviously the wooden "Dad" that came with the house didn't seem to mind the company...or that Scootaloo the Pony decided to join the party...

Polly's friend Leah was quick to move her beauty salon into the attic/baby room.  Princess Tiana and Polly's boyfriend brother must have gotten wind of the setup because they were first in line for a beauty treatment.  I guess that baby must really be a hard sleeper.

Strawberry Shortcake and Lemon Meringue helped themselves in the kitchen...and Tinkerbell decided to bring her tea party set so all of Ariel's sisters could enjoy tea and cake.

The Mom of the house got stuck entertaining Tink...and Leah (who was clearly leaving her customers in the attic hanging)...and poor Lila must have gotten hold of a cup of spiked honeysuckle tea from Tinkerbell's tea party.

To round things out, in the foyer, the house's collection of pets...four dogs, three cats, a monkey, two frogs, a horse and a firefly (him name be Ray) all waited patiently for...well whatever it was they were waiting for.

What did Polly think of all of this?

She passed out in bed with her twin Polly #2.  Little did she know that Cherilee dropped in for a nap too.

Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas...and that your house didn't end up looking like Polly's!

  2. LOL . . . that's the best blog I have read in a while! LOVE it!!!
You must not have boys yet in your home, at least not old enough to join in, because in our home, our doll house was loaded with many of the princesses and then . . . .wait for it . . . .little plastic army men and Nerf Darts. It appears our princesses need to switch zip codes, it's a hostil take over going on. ;)
