DIY Seaweed Powder & Aloe Hydrotherapy Bath
This is the perfect thalassotherapy, or seawater therapy treatment, to concoct at home because it takes virtually seconds of preparation time and it truly is one of the best ways to unwind in the tub.
Seaweed, or Digita laminaria, is very rich in iodine and protein. These nutrients are directly absorbed by the ores of the skin, affecting the body on a cellular level, and in the process will help detoxify, revive, remineralize and stimulate the body as a whole.
Aloe complements the effect of the seaweed in that the gel helps regenerate and soothe damaged or dry skin. Next to fresh seaweed, the freeze-dried powder is seaweed in its purest form.
Recipe:
1/2 cup freeze-dried seaweed powder
1/4 cup aloe gel
Pour seaweed powder and aloe get into bath water and relax for 20 minutes. Pat dry and moisturize. As seaweed baths can be draining, it is best not to overexert yourself immediately after the treatment.

Sounds like a nice pre-bedtime ritual. Where do you buy seaweed powder? I assume you can just buy aloe gel at any old drugstore.
